This Article is from the Chinese Embassy Dated May 21, 2014.  Is this where it all started?  So after Luo Zhaohui presented his letter of Credence to GG David Johnson, he then met up allegedly with Zhang Bin, the CCP official who assisted in a donation of a million dollars to the Trudeau Foundation (BTW David is a Foundation member) that was later returned as tainted election bribe money?  Could it be so?  Why can we not ask the questions?  Are we ever going to know?

Ambassador Luo Zhaohui Presented His Letter of Credence

On May 21st , dressed in traditional Chinese suit and accompanied by Deputy Chief of Protocol of Canada Chantal Chastenay, the 14th Chinese Ambassador to Canada Luo Zhaohui went to Rideau Hall to present his letter of credence to the Governor General of Canada David Johnston.

Ms. Angela Bogda, Chief Protocol of Canada, greeted Ambassador Luo at the main entrance to Rideau Hall. At 13:30, the ceremony of presentation of credence started amid live melodious music. Under the guidance of guards dressed in red uniform and bearskin cap, Governor General David Johnston and Ambassador Luo entered the ceremonial hall. Ms. Bogda introduced to the guests the resume of Ambassador Luo, and then Ambassador Luo presented his letter of credence signed by Chinese President Xi Jinping to Governor General David Johnston.

In his warm remarks, Governor General David Johnston welcomed Ambassador Luo, and expressed his hope for the two sides to work together to further the bilateral exchanges and cooperation. He also shared with the guests his past experience of promoting exchanges and cooperation with Chinese universities in the capacity as university president as well as his daughters’ stories of learning the Chinese language.

After the ceremony, Ambassador Luo and his wife Jiang Yili met with Governor General David Johnston. Ambassador Luo conveyed President Xi Jinping’s greetings to Governor General David Johnston and said it gives him great honor as well as strong sense of responsibility to assume the post of Chinese Ambassador to Canada at a time when the bilateral relations are undergoing stable and sound development. He looks forward to cooperating closely with the Canadian side to promote China-Canada strategic partnership to a higher level and make it better benefit the two countries.

Governor General David Johnston asked Ambassador Luo to pass his greetings to President Xi Jinping. He welcomed Ambassador Luo again and wished Ambassador Luo and his family a happy life in Canada. Happily recalling his successful state visit to China last year, he said he was pleased to see the results of the visit gradually implemented, and the Canadian side felt satisfied with the sound development of the bilateral relations.

Governor General David Johnston also talked with Minister Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy Mr. Liu Jin as well as other senior diplomats present at the ceremony and took photos with them. After learning about Madam Jiang Yili’s long-term experience in academic research, Governor General David Johnston was very pleased and said that he has been promoting the academic exchanges between China and Canada all along and hopes to see the people-to-people exchanges between the two countries becoming even closer.

Afterwards, the protocol officer of Rideau Hall invited Ambassador Luo and his wife as well as his entourage to tour the Rideau Hall.
